This includes led bulbs for all the lights that are in the 1979-81 Trans Am tail light housings. The taillights actually have 5 bulbs inside each housing (total of 10 bulbs per car), by getting this combo you can replace all the bulbs while you have the taillights off the car. You will also need to replace the flashers; you can add a pair (turn signals and emergency lights) to your order or use your own. Without the correct flasher the bulbs will flash really fast (hyper-flash) or not at all. The led flasher will cause them to work like normal. We also include install instructions with the kit that show how to remove the taillight housing from the car. Will not fit Firebird taillights, they don't have the 2 sets of running lights.
Dapper Lighting Revive - Featuring side and forward facing leds, these bulbs are extremely energy efficient & have bright, consistent output. 5-year warranty
Diode Dynamics HP48 - Populated with 48 Epistar 3014 side facing LED chips, the HP48 upgrades the factory yellowish incandescent bulb to a modern LED appearance.
3-year warranty +$50
Morimoto XB - With 30w of power, they are bright. High wattage means high surface temperatures, but the integrated fan works well to keep hot air away from the internal components of the bulb. These bulbs are big, unfortunately they do not fit the reverse light connectors, so we substitute Dapper bulbs for that location.
2 Year Warranty +$90
Diode Dynamics HP11 - Brighter output due to more forward and side facing led inside the bulb. Metal heatsinks keep the bulbs cool and output high.
3-year warranty +$130
Product Includes: 1 pair reverse bulbs, 2 pair running light bulbs & 2 pair tail/brake bulbs
You will need led flashers, they can be added to your order, or you can use your own.

Why are my turn signals too fast or don't work at all when I switch to LED bulbs?
LED bulbs have a lower resistance, so older mechanical style flasher relays won't work with them. LED flashers are designed to function with LED bulbs solving turn signal problems like hyper (too fast) flashing or no flashing. The flashers we sell use a ground wire which we combine both flashers and cut to length. Instructions show where flashers go and where to install the ring terminal which makes an easy install, a total of 4 screws to access the area and 1 nut for ring terminal. Unlike cheaper no-load flashers, these will still make a low clicking noise, so you know your turn signals are on.
